First, the important news!
It's Bette Davis day today on TCM's Summer Under the Stars. So that's where I'm going to be all morning, or perhaps all day!! They're showing such great movies. (They started with The Little Foxes at 6am, which I saw again recently, so I did a bunch of my early morning chores while sort of watching that, but everything else, I want to watch every wonderful minute of...)

We got a very nice review of That's Amore! from RomanceJunkies.com. Here's what they had to say:
THAT'S AMORE! is a passion filled book. Each story portrays a new type of relationship, whether just beginning, just ending, or somewhere in between. My personal favorite was BIMINI BLUE because the chemistry between Adam and Melinda was very strong and potent, but each story in this anthology has something to offer. All of the stories are very passion filled with heavy emphasis on eroticism. This was a pleasant read from writers who each had their own distinctive writing style and their own unique looks at love. --Romancejunkies.com
Some other new news...
This came by way of Kathy Kulig. It's good news for erotic romance EBOOK writers:
"A couple of weeks ago Awe-Struck announced via various listserves that we were going to start a line of erotic/romance books--we still ARE going to do that, but decided to create an ENTIRELY NEW SITE for them--a site completely different and separate from the Awe-Struck site--so that we could market more effectively and focus on more fully with these types of titles.
The url, you ask?--<www.heatwaveromance.com>
If you go there, you won't find anything YET, but Dick is designing the site and we ARE very much looking for erotic/romance short pieces and long pieces to showcase there--hopefully by this fall/winter.
Our HEAT-WAVE line will have two "levels": Storm Surge, and Heat Stroke:
Storm Surge: Sensual, sizzling, and stimulating; exclusive couples, married or unmarried. Creative sex play allowed, some sex toys, but no S and M or Bondage. Good plotline is also important!
Heat Stroke: Turn the sensuality up a few degrees; Adult language and more vivid descriptions; Graphic sexual scenes, but still a good plot line. Couples need not be exclusive to each other nor married to each other. Graphic language may be used.
We are accepting stories and novellas and they will be paid according to our ebook contract, which can be found on the Awe-Struck site (under menu/author submissions). Contact: editor@awestruckebooks.net if you have a story/novella to submit! We are on the PROWWWWL!-- Kathryn D. Struck, Publisher"
That's it for now, folks! I'm off to watch Bette Davis!
